Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the below:
- Allocate the wages expense to the P&L
- Raise payroll accruals if needed for month end cut off
- Raise/control payroll related balance sheet rec items such as payroll tax, superannuation and employee leave entitlements
You will need to have experience in an all-round Accountant role and have completed payroll/labour cost reporting. You will need to be an excellent communicator and ideally be CA/CPA part/fully qualified.
In addition to this you may also gain the opportunity to work on a systems project role alongside the Financial Controller.
