Job Description

Multi-National TOP ASX Listed Business are looking for a Finance Systems Lead to drive their Oracle Fusion implementation! You will be a key member of the Finance team and an integral part of the ERP project team, who will play a lead role in the continued enhancement of Oracle Cloud Finance modules specifically; accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, chart of accounts, general ledger, expenses, fixed assets, payroll, projects and financial reporting and the implementation of Oracle Cloud Finance modules for all acquired businesses. You will have Oracle or SAP Cloud experience and a proven track record of success participating as a subject matter expert on full-cycle ERP software implementations, working with stakeholders at different levels of an organisation to identify requirements and configure the solution to meet project goals.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Oracle Cloud-managed areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, chart of accounts, general ledger, expenses, fixed assets, payroll, projects and financial reporting
  • Directly lead a team of Finance Systems specialists (Finance Systems Manager, Systems Documentation Specialist, Documentation and Test Analyst and Pricing Analyst) in maintaining key system routines and schedules processes
  • Indirectly lead a team of Finance SME's which are assigned to the project
  • Report to the Group FC and ERP Manager on the progress of the implementation and any critical issues
  • Assist with organisational wide developmental needs on end to end ERP business processes & systems to drive on-going training initiatives.
  • Liaise with business sponsors to scope new finance ERP initiatives and integration processes
  • Resolve issues escalated by the Implementation Leads in a timely and effective manner, in consultation with key project and business stakeholders
  • Ensure milestones and deliverables for all assigned tasks are completed according to plans
  • Identify implementation risks and implement effective mitigation measures
  • Successfully on-board and off-board resources which are assigned to an implementation project
  • Assists in change management strategies for adoption of new systems or system changes throughout the project life cycle relative to reporting needs.
  • Ensure that the system/process users’ interests are known and communicated to other project stakeholders.
  • Frequently reassesses project scope to ensure projects are carried out according to the established plan, keeping the project on schedule and ensuring resources are on task.
  • Assist in the creation of process flows, work instruction, test scripts and end-user training
  • Participating member of the Finance team, delivering an effective, independent and self-sustaining financial and analytical support to the business.
  • Proactively build and manage relationships with CFO, Group Executive, Business Managers, Group Finance Team and key stakeholders across the business ensuring a ‘one company’ and best outcome focus.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across all aspects of the business and be a strong advocate for the Finance team and its role within the business.
  • Provide leadership or support on projects and initiatives nominated by the CFO.
Experience required to be successful:
  • 10 to 15 years of business/industry work experience within a Technology, finance/admin background
  • Extensive knowledge of large ERP systems e.g. Oracle, SAP
  • Extremely strong stakeholder management skills at all levels and from all backgrounds i.e. business stakeholders, technical/functional architects, developers, internal management etc.
  • Collaborative style with strong interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline.
  • Able to receive constructive feedback from key stakeholders and colleagues positively and works on it.
  • Ability to identify and effectively manage risks and issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in preparing reports, presentations and analysis.
  • Professional qualification preferred CA, CPA or CIMA.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud release 12 (or similar)
  • Post Graduate Degree in Business, MBA or similar discipline.
  • Previous exposure to a global business environment and matrix reporting structures, ideally within the service industry.
