The Opportunity

This rapidly growing utilities company is about to undertake an exciting major Organisational Development (OD) program and is looking for an experienced OD professional to lead multiple streams of companywide change. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company which is committed to change from the top down with a remit to design, develop and implement the bulk of HR programs and policies. This 2 year fixed term contract will report directly to the Head of Organisational Development and will work closely with a Senior Organisational Development Manager. The role is based in the Western Suburbs and will require some travel to the company’s other locations in the Greater Sydney area.

The Role
  • Designing, developing and implementing OD programs for Leadership, Talent & Succession, Ethics, Culture and Diversity, Onboarding, In house Training and Development, Outsourced Training, Cadets and Graduates, Study Assistance and LMS Integration
  • Manage a range of projects at different stages of development/implementation simultaneously
  • Ensuring OD programs meet the current and future strategic vision of the company and OD team
  • Engaging with and developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure buy in to the OD program at all levels
  • Reporting on the effectiveness of OD programs to maintain continual improvement
The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Education or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience working in the Utilities/Energy industries would be advantageous
  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing large scale OD programs
  • Experience liaising with and developing managers
  • Confidence in working autonomously within a small and experienced team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate simply and clearly to all levels of staff
  • Commercial and analytical mindset
  • Experience with, and confidence in, adapting quickly and easily to a constantly changing environment
  • Strong influencing skills
