Reporting into the Financial Controller and working very closely with the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for processing fortnightly payroll for around 400 staff. You will also calculate sales commissions, record payroll transactions, prepare PAYG statements as well as assist with month-end and year-end tasks.
This role includes data entry, excel spreadsheet analysis, payroll calculations and updating of records.
In addition you will be required to assist in any ad hoc tasks required by the finance team.
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 2 years payroll experience (perferably between 3-5 years), with a strong knowledge of current payroll legislation. You will have good mathematical ability, good computer skills and have the ability to use Excel at an intermediate level. You will be an excellent communicator, and have the ability to fit into a high energy finance team.
