A leading FMCG firm with a strong brand is seeking an experienced payroll officer to join their team. This fast paced environment requires an experienced person to assist over this time and add value quickly. You will enjoy busy team environments and be available to start a new position immediately.

You will need to be detailed orientated as processes can be complex and be comfortable asking questions. You will need to demonstrate payroll experience working in a full function role working within a complex business.
This role has arisen due to a team member leaving and they are looking on a contract capacity whilst they determine their needs on a longer term. This role certainly has the capacity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Weekly payment runs of approx. 1,700 rostered staff
- Manage, maintain and update pay records and files for all employees
- Payroll tax and group tax, insurance and superannuation payments
- Calculation of overtime, leave and termination payments etc.
- Resolving pay queries.
- End of month payments and administration.
The successful candidate will have end to end payroll experience within a complex business.Although training will be provided on the system (ADI & Clearpay), you will have extensive experience in payroll to hit the ground running and add value in this thriving business.
This role requires someone who has the ability to be proactive and self reliant. You will be available immediately and able to commit to the following days/hours:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:00/8:30am until 4:00/4:30pm.
