You will work with the business to map the current payroll process, streamline the payroll clocks across the business, suggest process improvements and launch a new plan.
This will include leading the payroll improvement project autonomously working collaboratively with HR and Finance. You will synchronise the time clock to go live in multiple sites and conduct parallel runs.
In addition you will evaluate current process time, speed an efficiency. You will need to reduce complications, time spent and ideally increase efficiency. You will calculate and measure current processes as it relates to compliance and awards.
Finally you will assess the Sage Micropay Meridian system use and ensure the business is using it to its full capacity. You will construct, propose, train and implement a new payroll process.
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience leading HR and/or Payroll related projects. You will have a strong understanding of the risks and controls required in Payroll/HR related processes and projects. You will have previous demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of projects to agreed timeframes, budgets and standards.
Additionally you will have previous experience working with and influencing multi-functional teams, which includes working directly with lead business representatives, other project managers, industry service providers and project owners. Finally you will have an understanding of Micropay Meridian and Kronos or similar HRIS, Payroll and Time and Attendance systems.
