Job Description

Following strong organic YoY growth and recent external investment, they are entering a new stage of the start-up lifecycle. This fast growing technology business, with a global presence is looking to add to their specialist payroll team. 

The role of our Payroll Specialist is to support the account management team throughout implementation and manage additional payroll services with clients. This includes overseeing a portfolio of self-managed customers, supporting them throughout parallel pay runs, providing assistance and creating rule sets and enterprise agreements.

The key tasks and responsibilities include the following:

• Manage client queries over the phone and on email
• Creating and managing rule sets 
• Estimating effort on Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) builds
• Creating EBA agreements 
• Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Sales, Account Management and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Assist with challenging payroll requests or issue de-escalations as needed
• Document and communicate issues to the technical team as necessary
• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
• Assisting in sales demos and requirements specifications as required
• Escalation point for payroll support
• Data migration from Payroll systems as required
• Complete payroll assessments and health checks as required
• Ensure customers have the tools and knowledge required to manage payroll 

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering client-focused solutions to suit customer needs. You will have the proven ability to  juggle multiple account management projects in parallel, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. To be successful you will be a good communicator who can present and influence effectively at all levels of the organizations. You will have strong experience with Awards and EBA's and and prior experience with Key Pay, Hero Pay and Quickbooks will be highly regarded but not essential.
