Job Description

We are currently assisting a large Not-For-Profit organisation with operations across Australia, for the recruitment of a Payroll Systems Administrator.  Based in Melbourne, this position is a Fixed Term Contract of 12 months.

Role description:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Payroll and HRIS systems. This will imply supporting systems administration, systems integrations and interdependencies. The Systems Administrator will be accountable for data management as well as implementing and improving processes. 
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the system is usable, and updates/improvements are developed and implemented
- Work on integration between PayGlobal, Kronos, and PageUp systems
- Develop functionality and support new module rollout working closely with system users/owners 
- End to end testing and documentation
- Be the internal and external point of contact for PayGlobal
- Coordinate data audits, data cleansing, and ensure data quality and accuracy is maintained
- Work with HRIS System Administrator to develop and support processes for position structure within the HRIS and Kronos
- Document the design and implementation method of changes to systems
- Audit the translation of all EA pay conditions into Payroll sets
- Design suite of reporting with the Payroll Manager to support payroll processing
- Safeguard implementation of privacy law and standards in systems
- 3+ years in a similar position
- Experience managing data integrations, investigation, and error resolution
- Knowledge of payroll legislation, business processes, practices, and statutory compliance requirements
- Understanding of integration of Payroll with Rostering Time & Attendance to achieve Award & EBA interpretation, and integration with HRIS 
- Ability to manage external vendors 
- Advanced Excel skills (Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
