Job Description

Large Financial Services Organisation are looking for Multiple Pega Developers to join their newly formed Development team for Greenfield Product Development! In this role you will be working in their Agile Delivery environment for new product development and application support to business users and providing real time solutions through problem-solving, root cause analysis and development of fixes.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Project work in Agile environment adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Responsible for application support to business users and providing real time solutions through problem-solving, root cause analysis and development of fixes.
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues related to IT application systems
  • Work with business users and IT colleagues to ensure timely resolutions are provided to identified issues
  • Support Pega production environments by reviewing system performance and work with other teams to resolve any issues or provide solutions.
  • Provide effective support and minimize downtime to the business by liaising with other developers, back end support, database administrators and vendors
  • Work with other teams to deploy or support deployments as well as assisting with system health checks and triage issues post deployment
  • Ensure documentation related to Standard Operations Procedures are updated and maintained.
  • Ensure that established procedures and standards are adhered to 
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve the overall performance delivered to customers
  • Participate in after-hours and weekend support
  • Get involved & take responsibility in requirement gathering/understanding, development, debugging and maintenance of projects.
Experience required to be successful;
  • 5-10 Years overall IT experience (Some flexibility here)
  • 3+ Years Pega Development experience having strong involvement in Development, Deployment and Change coordination
  • Strong experience with PEGA application technical support
  • Pega CSSA certification (Preferred)
  • Prior experience supporting Pega systems ideally within Banking industry
  • Must have experience with issue management systems e.g. JIRA, ALM, QTest
  • Proficiency in Pega Architecture concepts (Including but not limited to):
    • Strong implementation knowledge of Case Management (including Dependency)
    • Hands on expertise in configuring Pega UI with Branding
  • Proficiency in IAC implementation concepts (including but not limited to):
  • PRPC with JMS and REST
  • Inbound email service design and configuration
  • PRPC asynchronous integration models
  • Integration Error Handling and debugging
  • Distributed transactions
  • XML for Data mapping;
  • Proficient in integration concepts (including but not limited to):
  • Evaluating class structures for future enhancements
  • Rule Assembly and Execution
  • Pega Caches
