Job Description

High profile Australian organisation are about to embark on a number of greenfield executive level backed initiatives and looking for a PMO Analyst/Coordinator. In this role you will work with the Program Manager to take findings from the current state gap analysis and future state mapping to create a plan to implement core project frameworks (eg artefacts, project controls etc.). 

Responsibilities:


  • Work with Program Manager to take findings from the current state gap analysis and future state mapping to create a plan to implement core project frameworks (eg artefacts, project controls etc)
  • Work with Program Manager to re scope the current project life cycle and create underpinning and fit for purpose stage gate milestones, stage gate review checklists etc
  • Create fit for purpose project artefacts and work to coach project team members to adopt and maintain (with full support from the Program Manager)
  • Work with the Program Manager, shared services provider and internal project leads to implement an overall program dashboard in a project management office tool (Confluence)
  • Conduct workshops with both internal project teams and the shared services provider teams to create fit for purpose project frameworks
  • Support the Program Manager with program reporting requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years experience working in project management office as a PMO Analyst, PMO Coordinator or Project Analyst
  • Proven experience across the execution of day to day PMO governance tasks
  • Proven experience across PMO roll-outs where you have worked with the Program Manager to develop and implement project frameworks and artefacts
  • Proven hands on experience with the use and execution of project management systems, tools and processes and how these are practically used in a PMO (eg Jira, Confluence)
  • Proven hands on experience developing and maintaining project portfolio reporting including prioritisation and optimisation of projects with a Program Manager/PMO Manager
  • Experience working across Prince 2, Waterfall and Agile execution methodologies
