Job Description

The Role:
  • Our consultancy client has on going work with government and private organisations for a Power BI Analyst / Developer.
  • You will use your proven Power BI, SQLand Data Factory skills to play a key role in the production and analysis of various reports and dashboards to serve the business.
  • You will be in constant contact with stakeholders and have reproting lines both to IT and to Finance


Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders to gather business requirements for insights, reporting and dashboard production across the organisation;
  • Technical development and production of dashboards (including PowerBI, SQL, Data Factory/SSIS)
  • Gather feedback from end-users to ensure solution design is thorough and results in quick feedback loops;
  • Developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
About you:
  • You have strong communication skills and a relationship-building approach
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Power BI projects involving user requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation
  • Business and commercial acumen is essential
  • You are able to "hit the ground running" (a short learning curve)
  • You have the ability to collect, analyse and interpret data from various sources to use in decision-making
  • Highly relevant experience and advanced skills in PowerBI, SQL, and Data Factory
  • You can demonstrate that you can build dashboards that really deliver what the end-users need to make effective business decisions
