Job Description

As a key influencer, you will provide leadership, advice and improve governance within the operations team . Working with all levels of the business, from frontline to management,  the role is responsible for controlling inventory, working with key suppliers, sourcing of raw materials, accounting of inventory, rotation of stock to reduce waste, systems implementation and compliance, and demand planning to effectively meet our customers' orders.  
You need possess the following attributes:

  • Making a difference, though delivering projects and improving governance in inventory controls
  • Well-developed skills in influencing, to maintain the procurement, inventory planning processes & systems
  • Be flexible with works hours to suit the operational hours of the business
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
  • Past work experience in supply chain roles within the food service/manufacturing industry.  Understand supply chain policies, products, and operational processes.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role and similar industry
  • Strong experience in Supply Chain Management & Stock Control
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to make informed decisions independently
  • Strong problems solving and analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills in systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Strong technical skills with warehouse management systems and stock control systems
  • Strong technical experience in demand planning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with key suppliers.
