As a Procurement Specialist for Australia and New Zealand you will be responsible for the full procurement process except for Real Estate. You will be identifying potential suppliers, selecting suppliers, negotiating terms and contracts and managing supplier risk all whilst complying with the groups regional procedures.
The main responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating procurement of external services and goods, including Technology and Professional Services. Developing and managing supplier relationships and constantly improving service quality.
- Developing category strategy, build strong savings pipeline and implement these strategies.
- Ensuring the appropriate involvement negotiations with suppliers across Australia and New Zealand.
- Ensuring the groups procedures are followed and support the implementation of Global/Regional agreements within the Territory.
To be considered for this role you will have at least 8 years of procurement experience, preferably from the financial services industry. You'll have strong category management experience, particularly across Technology and Professional services. You'll have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills as well as strong negotiation skills. You will be comfortable working in a stand alone position and will have high attention to details with strong problem solving skills.
