Job Description

Project Manager required to champion multiple projects within the business & technology PMO. Flexible working arrangements with full PM autonomy. No over the top processes, no red tape, just greenfield project delivery.

A few pre-requisites we need:

- Sole Project manager running multiple concurrent project streams using agile
- Prince 2 or PMBOK qualified
- Agile experience and certified (SCRUM or AgilePM)
- Delivered (by themselves) ERPs, Platforms, BI tools, Cloud tech
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to agree scope, timelines and artefacts in order to ensure delivery of the project in line with the overall agreed plan
  • Establish and evolve PMO processes and controls (e.g. resource planning, risk and issue management, status reporting, scope and change control management) and manage their implementation and adoption.
  • Act as a mentor to the BAs and coaching the Technology Team to implement PMO processes.
  • Manage Project Management Office, maturing and championing existing procedures, as well as developing and maintaining new ones to ensure best practice for the planning, monitoring and control of projects.
  • Define end to end project plans that deliver the agreed scope of the project to time, budget and quality criteria
  • Manage the delivery of the projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation ensuring the project delivers in accordance with standards, including owning the overall estimation process for the project
  • Delivering multiple ERP, CRM projects within a PMO autonomously
  • Experience within one of the following industries would be preferable: Professional Services, banking, finance, tax, property/asset management or insurance. 
  • Proven experience of working as a Project/PMO Manager and knowledge of PMO methodologies is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of project life cycles and project management tools & methodologies 
  • Proven organisational skills - able to prioritise workloads, including the ability to multi-task effectively and work in a matrix environment.
