Job Description

Prestigious well known Australian company. Looking for a Project Manager to drive 2 greenfield system implementations.
  • 12 months' contracts (FTC)
  • Implementation of 2 off shelves systems 
  • Business focus project

Responsibilities:   
  
  • Direct and manage various projects from inception through to project closure.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive project plans and associated communications documents to assist with the adoption of change.
  • Draft and submit projects and budget proposals with recommendations.
  • Estimate and engage as required, the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Effectively communicate and manage project expectations and success criteria with team members and project stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Proactively implement and conduct progress reviews throughout the various project phases in order to identify and mitigate changes to scope and project elements.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow a strong business relationships vital to the success of those projects.
  • Manage successfully the implementation of the solutions on a pilot site before rolling the systems on the other sites.
 
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated solid experience in a Client-Side and or Consultancy project management role, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Certification in Prince 2 – Foundation.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the commercial and residential practice.
  • Demonstrated adeptness at conducting thorough research into project-related issues and products.
  • Demonstrated advanced organizational and project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects to achieve deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professional skills in contract administration and preparation of accurate documentation for internal and external purposes.
  • Advanced communication and people skills combined with strong influencing, relationship management and negotiating skills with the ability to lead multiple resources to achieve successful outcomes.
  • High-level representational skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise successfully with community groups, authorities and other internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies as required.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications and MS Project.
  • Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work
  • Relevant key personnel and probity checks required by legislation and policy.
