Job Description

Prestigious Australian Healthcare and Medical Device organisation are diverging from their parent company and looking for a Project Manager to plan, manage and execute the Business Process and Technology Systems transition/cutover for their SAP. With a focus on working with the stakeholders in the Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to plan and deliver on time and within budget. With this role being a focus on their APAC region you may be required to travel overseas on occasion.

What we're looking for you to do:
  • Creation and submission of the business case to obtain project financial approval
  • Creation of detailed project charter that clearly defines project goals and objectives, governance structure, and all roles and responsibilities
  • Creation of project plans with defined milestones that identify the project critical path for cutover
  • Identification of project and development of project schedule, resources and/or identification of scheduling conflicts
  • Proactive management of resource load, work breakdown structures, issue/risk tracking and resolution, and project execution
  • Ensure change control processes are in place and adhered to, managing and documenting changes to project scope and impact to plan
  • Communicate with all levels of management and staff relating to project status, issues, and risks
  • Analyse project risks, costs, and benefits and make relevant recommendations to the steering committee and senior management
  • Function as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest possible time
Qualifications;
  • SAP Project Management experience preferred
  • Ability to talk functionally with technical teams to develop project scopes and deliverables
  • Ideally 5+ years of Project Management experience required with a proven track record in managing large scale projects across multiple geographical areas
  • Ability to coordinate projects with an assertive, consultative style
  • Proven experience in creating efficiencies that heavily contribute to multiple projects
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions and/or industries
  • Must be flexible and able to work in deadline driven, fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization
  • Ability to develop presentation materials and deliver presentations to different audiences and levels of management in an effective manner
  • Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of accounting and financial functions and processes
