The Company

This well known business is headquartered in Brisbane, and has a core vision of continuing to play a vital role in the Queensland and National Electricity Market, whilst focusing on diversifying operations and revenue streams to adapt and thrive in a consistently changing energy landscape. 

Through 2020 & COVID, they have remained focused and motivated, emerging in 2021 with growth to teams and without losing key personnel. They are currently seeking a recruitment specialist to join their Brisbane Office to cover a maternity leave over a 12 month basis. 

The Role 

The position is a stand alone role in which the successful candidate will solely manage the end to end recruitment of all opportunities at all levels across the organisation split across three locations. 

Duties will include (but are not limited to): 
  • Educating and assisting hiring managers.
  • Gaining approval for new recruitment opportunities across the organisation. 
  • Creating appropriate job descriptions.
  • Drafting and posting job advertisements internally and to online job boards.
  • Source quality candidates to interview and shortlist. 
  • Diary management of hiring managers in order to schedule interviews with candidates. 
  • Sit in on interviews (when assistance is needed).
  • Offer proposals.
  • Onboarding of staff members.
  • Reference checks, Police checks and organisation of medical examinations.
  • Drafting employment contracts.
  • Heavily involved in development programs including graduate, apprentice and trainee programs. 

About You 

The successful candidate will ideally be: 
  • Degree qualified.
  • 3+ years internal recruitment experience. 
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Be able to work autonomously in a fast paced busy environment. 
  • Assessment centre experience would be advantageous but not essential.
