Job Description

The Opportunity:

This leading global law firm is looking for an experienced Remuneration and Benefits Consultant to join their HR team in Sydney on either a full or part time basis. You will work alongside a team of experienced and long serving specialists who are friendly, down-to-earth, and have great respect from the partnership. Working under one of the Heads of HR you will engage directly with the Partners and Heads of Functions across APAC to manage the firm’s remuneration structure and process, the benefits portfolio, and support the design and maintenance of talent analytics and reporting. This is an exciting time to join the firm as it is at the forefront of the legal industry and has just refreshed their remuneration and benefits framework which will be implemented by this role.
  

The Role:

This role will manage the implementation and on-going management of the firm’s remuneration and benefits framework and process including:
  • Project managing the implementation of the new framework
  • Project managing the annual regional remuneration review and incentive plan
  • Managing the firm's benefits portfolio and relevant supplier relationships
  • Proactively researching, bench-marking and recommending salaries
  • Being the ‘go to’ person for systems and reporting
  • Ensuring the firm operates best practice in the market and maintains compliance
  • Developing and maintaining efficient reporting and analytics
  • Assisting the other HR specialists on HR Projects if and when needed
  
About you:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Business Management or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role with a focus on Remuneration and Benefits
  • Experience in a professional services organisation, or similar, managing complex stakeholder structures
  • Project Management qualifications would be desirable
  • Excellent numerical skills and analytical ability with experience manipulating quantitative data and financial modelling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability and eagerness to build strong relationships with staff
  • Highly-organised
  • Strong technology capability
