Job Description

The Role:
  • Our client is looking for a Salesforce Administrator on an initial 6 months contract with likely extensions to work 2 days from the office in rhodes and 3 days from home
Your Responsibilities:
  • Production incident and problem management
  • Identifying root causes of incidents and recommending solutions to resolve the underlying issues
  • Working closely with the project and development teams to ensure that the business requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Being client focused and able to communicate at a business level, being able to discuss technical matters with non-technical people.
  • Actively contribute to the reduction of the support backlog and improvement of incident trends over time.
  • Ability to work with vendors and other 3rd party providers
  • Ownership of assigned deliverables, contributing to the delivery of projects and ensuring the solution agreed is the solution delivered
  • Quality assurance of enhancements, testing and assisting the business with the UAT
  • Responsible for business analysis and testing of all enhancements, support and maintenance of the production Core CRM, Community Portal, Pardot and future Salesforce based solutions
  • Act as the primary contact for administration and configuration of the Salesforce CRM, Pardot, Service Cloud and Community Cloud
  • Implement workflows within the Salesforce suite of products
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Investigate and analyse issues, identify causes and deliver solutions and ensure accurate and timely resolution of all requests
  • Run Salesforce Optimizer and report/address any issues
  • Review Salesforce Critical Updates and Releases
  • Monitor Salesforce Usage (Data storage, File Storage, Top Users by Data Storage Usage, Top Users by File Storage Usage etc)
  • Create and maintain Salesforce orgs and refresh when needed
About You: 
  • Previous experience as Salesforce Admin (minimum 4 years)
  • Detailed understanding of modern DevOps practices including source control, build management (CI-CD), environment management, configuration management and administration within context
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud
  • Working within Agile framework
  • Customer oriented approach with good verbal and written skills – excellent customer service
  • Proactive and independent, able to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Proven commercial experience of Salesforce configuration (creation and maintenance of users, profiles, roles, permissions and dashboards, creation of custom objects, fields and page layouts)
