My client is a high-growth boutique real estate investment & fund manager. With a continually expanding and complementary portfolio of commercial real estate assets. They are well backed and have experienced continued success throughout this tough climate, on their way to $1 billion FUM.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership (including MD, COO & head of M&A) learning off and adding to the strategic direction of the business.
You will be supporting two core areas of - transactions analysis and asset management.
A key aspect of this role will be financial modelling to develop underwriting, market research, due diligence and investment committee material.
You'll support new investment proposals, M&A activity, drive valuations of existing assets and run feasibility analysis for new developments opportunities. As well as provide input around process improvement initiatives, internal projects and other ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate will have an excellent academic track record and ideally have relevant qualifications in finance/commerce/accounting. You will have 2-5 years working in Investment Banking, consulting or a similar role in the real estate sector.
Regardless you will have advanced financial modelling skills (in M&A or property valuation, forecasting or business cases).
