Job Description

We're working with a prestigious global organisation who are looking for a Senior Jedox Developer to help the business develop and manage a new planning, budget and forecasting platform! 

In this role you will be responsible for all development, administrative and security tasks related to Jedox as well as providing support to Jedox users across the business. The role will work closely with the Data and Reporting teams where Jedox will integrate with the reporting platform, QlikSense etc.

We are open to considering candidates from various locations for this role, and will be offering flexible working arrangements.

You will be responsible for:
  • Be primarily responsible for the on-going advanced development of the Jedox-based Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning platform, including the creation of Jedox solutions  (cubes, rules, turbo integrator processes) and working through the entire development life cycle, following best practice
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the integration between Jedox and any source systems including ERP, SAP and Qlik
  • Responsible for the security maintenance of the Jedox database and implementation of new security requirements
  • Developing Qlik apps using Jedox embedded reports, graphs or as required
  • Support the businesses planning and reporting processes
  • Continuously review processes for improvement, including establishing and building analytical models/reports to enable comprehensive review of the company wide budget
  • Perform root cause analysis to implement technical corrective solutions, identify opportunities for continual service improvement and resolve application issues and bugs
  • Liaise with multiple influential stakeholders to understand and identify existing assumptions, reports, and other financial data
  • Maintain training materials, including documentation of all business processes such as policies, procedures, forms, workflow, integrations, formats/templates, associated reports and notifications
Experience to be successful:
  • Demonstrated end to end development experience with Jedox, or similar product, as well as an understanding of Jedox architecture
  • Degree in Accounting, IT or Business Information Systems
  • Experience working with Finance teams would be preferable. Able to communicate effectively and be comfortable discussing ideas with finance professionals at all levels of management and end users
  • Advanced understanding of Data Warehouse and OLAP
  • Preference for proficient in developing modules and processes using the Excel and Web environments of Jedox
  • Preference for advance experience with the Jedox integrator and proven ability to manage and perform integrations to disparate systems and API
  • Preference for previous experience with Qlik and it's integration with Jedox or ability to upskill
  • Preference for Advanced knowledge of Jedox rules, feeders and TI Processes
  • Preference for Advanced knowledge and experience in implementing and managing Jedox Security
