As a result of recent business changes and joint ventures, Namoi Cotton are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to start in 2021. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this is a broad position which will play an integral role in the day to day running of the finance team and covers technical, commercial, and analytical accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of half and full year statutory accounts, and consolidations as required
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting
- Manage fixed asset register, capital reporting, and other reports as required
- Manage FX and relevant treasury accounting requirements
- Partner across the business to deliver annual budget and forecasting process
- Drive improvements to accounting policies, procedures, and systems (JD Edwards)
You will be a qualified CA/CPA with exceptional knowledge of accounting practices and legislation, with well-developed interpersonal skills and a strong eye for detail. Working closely with a range of business functions and stakeholders, you will be an excellent communicator who has demonstrated the ability to drive commercial discussions whilst providing effective financial and accounting services in a team environment.
Experience and interest in agribusiness would be an advantage, as is experience with J D Edwards.
This position will be primarily based out of Namoi Cotton’s Toowoomba option, flexible working is on offer.
