This exciting role focused on Risk and Project Delivery will report to the Head of Enterprise and Operational Risk. Their team is committed to providing structured risk advice and challenge to our business partners, independent reporting to our Boards, and a transparent relationship with our regulators.
As the Senior Manager, Project and Change Risk, you will support the Head of Enterprise and Operational Risk in delivering high quality risk advice regarding project delivery risk and controls. You will support the business by providing second line oversight and challenge to major projects/change to ensure they actively manage, escalate and resolve risks in accordance with our risk management framework. You will work with senior leaders in business, technology and compliance areas to manage risk through the changes they are implementing. In doing so, you will support the ongoing maturity of our risk framework as our business evolves.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and ideally a post-graduate qualification in a related field and be a specialist risk management technology governance or project management professional.
You will have several years of experience in a risk management and compliance role, with expertise in project delivery and assurance preferably in regulatory and technology projects/change.
Ideally you will have experience in dealing with business management, operational risk, technology risk, project, product or process management issues in a financial or related institution, or in a consultancy/audit capacity, at a junior management level.
You will have the ability to build strong relationships at all levels to clearly communicate good practices in operational risk management.
Finally, you will have a good working knowledge of relevant financial services regulatory and compliance considerations, can think strategically and deliver solutions to risk issues.
