Role:
In this permanent role, the Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, administration, support, documentation and maintenance of the organisations Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Infrastructure, to ensure that is reliable, available and aligns in accordance with the organisational strategic plan and the IT Strategy.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Ensure that ICT solutions and infrastructure is fully compliant with the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ISO 27001 standards.
  • Installing, configuring, managing, documenting and supporting the Core VMware Infrastructure, Test, Dev, UAT, Pre-Prod and Prod environments, Active Directory, Office365, SQL, Azure, AWS, Veeam
    backups, and many other custom applications.
  • Configure, Manage, Document and Support the monitoring tools, PRTG, Aruba Central and Aruba ClearPass.
  • Configure, manage, document and support Active Directory Policies, SSL Certificates, Domain Names, Security Patching, OS Updates/Patches (Servers and Workstations).
  • Incidents are actively identified and managed within incident management process to provide service recovery and documenting the service management tool to enable Post Incident Reporting (PIR).
  • Positively and professionally engage with all stakeholders at all levels as required.
  • Work on major projects to ensure timely delivery to the organization.
To be successful you will have;
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Senior Systems Administrator.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in ICT infrastructure technologies including, VMware, HPE Storage and Compute, Converged Infrastructure, HP desktops, MS Windows Server 2012/16/19 and Windows 10 operating systems, SQL, Active Directory, ADFS, Azure, Office 2013/2016 and Office 365 networking, wireless and Veeam Backup software as well as other core components.
  • Ability to analyse and resolve problems efficiently, in a timely manner and collaboratively in multiple diverse environments.
  • Solid time management with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
