Job Description

This high profile, complex business is very well known in the Australian market, and has a range of premium products sold through major retailers. They are undergoing an exciting phase of business change & growth, and now require a Level 2 Service Desk professional to join the team on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent role within the business. 

Reporting into the IT Manager, your key responsibilities will include 1st and 2 line troubleshooting and job logging as well as later support in their processing facility.  Systems are in-house developed and on the job training provided. Some more detailed job duties may include; 
  • Action Support Tickets & Emails; action or escalation of issues
  • Asset management of mobile devices / accessories (purchase, receiving from field, reassigning)
  • Set up of laptops, tablets
  • Data maintenance of internal systems
  • Ensure all infield devices are fully functioning
  • Administration for on-boarding of tools for new recruits
  • Monitoring of helpdesk software queues to ensure all SLAs are being met
  • Escalate issues to vendors (telco and printers)
  • Phone, Remote and direct support of all staff
  • Work in excel, including internal based system
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:
  • MS Office365 and Active Directory knowledge as well as an understanding of networking(Basic to intermediate)
  • High level of knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • 1+ year minimum experience resolving desktop issues
  • Experience working on an IT Help Desk
