The Role

Within this role the main duties are as follows but not limited to:
- Manage state budgets and cost expenditure to align with KPI's and financial targets
- Ability to coach sales and customer relationship management related skills to team members
- Create and execute comprehensive growth strategy for expansion into a new market, through outstanding customer relationship management; in conjunction with all stakeholders including national Branch Operations Manger, in accordance with targets and goals
- Support branch managers to ensure all goals and targets are met
- Monitor and develop performance management for all employees within your state
- Review, monitor and report on all aspects of branch service delivery performance, retention, file management, client and referrer satisfaction
- Proactively analyse operational, competitor and industry risks in all branches in their allocated state/s, as well as working collaboratively with executive, management and operational levels to mitigate these risks
- Lead and positively motivate staff proactively in a fast paced, process driven environment
- Recruit, induct, train and performance manage staff in accordance with policies and procedures and in collaboration with management 
- Ensure all staff and work environments are safe and compliant, as per policies and procedures
- Establish objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for each branch and further develops strategies and action plans to meet objectives 

The Candidate

The ideal candidate should display the below experience and attributes: 
- VIC Drivers license
- Diploma or Degree of Business/Management desirable
- Experience managing more than 10 people
- Knowledge of the insurance industry highly desirable
- Knowledge/Experience of credit hire (demurrage) industry
- Motor Vehicle hire knowledge/experience high desirable
- Knowledge of legal and insurance industry terminology
- Knowledge of legal liability and claims procedures
- Ability to manage and coach staff towards team and individual target and goal achievement
- Ability to manage branch deadlines and workflow to be able to meet deadlines and targets
- Excellent interpersonal and partnership building skills and attributes
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and privacy
- Strategy development and project management skills
