Senior operational role with strategic involvement
APAC role
$120-140K base salary + bonus potential

The Opportunity:

Our client is a leading global design business who are in the middle of an ambitious growth strategy across APAC. This role will play a key part in leading the growth strategy through proactive talent acquisition and the promotion and development of the company’s brand in the region. This is a key role in the business and will partner closely with regional stakeholders to ensure best recruitment practice is adopted across the business and strategic talent initiatives are developed including direct recruitment, talent pooling, candidate management and a robust EVP. Because of the unique and niche industry our client operates in it is essential that the right candidate has experience working in any of the following industries; design, interior design, construction, architecture, engineering or property. Reporting to the Regional HR BP with a dotted line to the Global Recruitment Lead this role will also work closely with the larger HR team who are collaborative, agile, adaptive and supportive.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing processes end-to-end
  • Proactively headhunting candidates and building market maps
  • Working with Managers to forecast future requirements and developing sourcing strategies accordingly
  • Managing the online and internal recruitment systems to ensure excellent stakeholder and candidate experience
  • Working with the internal team to develop and maximise the EVP
  • Develop and support current and future local and remote team members
About you:
  • Senior level internal recruitment/talent acquisition experience in a large, preferably global/regional company
  • Experience working in the APAC region is preferred
  • Preferred experience in the design, interior design, construction, architecture, engineering or property industries
  • Extensive experience with end to end talent acquisition processes focused on best practice, efficiency and ensuring the best candidate and employee experience
  • Experience in headhunting passive candidates, talent pooling and developing market maps
  • Understanding of local/regional recruitment practices and relevant employment law and visa processes
  • Skilled with various recruitment ATS/CRM software and the ability to utilise them effectively
  • Willingness to travel to regional sites
  • Comfortable working autonomously with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and highly organised
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability and eagerness to build strong relationships with staff and candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
