The Opportunity:

Work with this well branded and recognised Australian Not for Profit! Our client is a leading provider in disability assistance across NSW and is looking for an experienced and passionate Recruitment Team Leader to join their growing team. This role will manage a broad remit to lead the recruitment team of 7, proactively and reactively source candidates, run large-scale expansion projects across NSW, and ensure best practice reporting. The Role:

Working on a full-time basis this role will manage a team of 7 including 3 experienced recruiters and 4 recruitment coordinators/admins. The role will also assist in managing operational recruitment including roles based in the head office, therapy roles and high volume recruitment for disability support workers. With a flat structure within the team and experienced recruiters the leadership component of this role will focus more on managing the juniors/temps and ensuring the capacity of the team is manageable and stakeholder relationships are well maintained. From a strategic point of view the role will work closely with the team and the broader HR team to fully centralise the Talent team over time and grow the capability and capacity of the team to be more proactive and increase the value add to the business.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing processes end-to-end
  • Proactively headhunting candidates and building market maps
  • Working with Managers to forecast future requirements and developing sourcing strategies accordingly
  • Project Management of large scale recruitment campaigns
  • Managing the online and internal recruitment systems to ensure excellent stakeholder and candidate experience
  • Drive the engagement of the team and implement initiatives/training to ensure engagement, support and growth of the team
  • Manage expenditure of the team
  • Working with the internal team to develop and maximise the EVP
  • Lead the continued centralisation of the Talent team in the business

About you:
  • At least 8 years recruitment experience
  • Experience in the Healthcare/Community Services sector would be desirable
  • Experience leading a team of recruitment professionals
  • Experience managing high volume recruitment campaigns
  • Experience with headhunting and managing passive candidate pools
  • Experience and passion for operational recruitment
  • Self-motivated and highly organised
  • Internal and agency candidates will be considered
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability and eagerness to build strong relationships with staff and candidates
  • Eager to learn and develop your skills
  • Data centric with the ability and experience to analyse and report on recruitment trends, successes, and challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong capability and confidence with technology, especially Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a small, close knit team, and autonomously
