Job Description

Technical Service Delivery Lead required to deliver a best in class service uplift initiatives to mid-sized financial services organisations. In this role, you will be working as part of a hybrid cloud build! With the significant increase in project workload, staff growth and new product launch there's been an increased demand on the Technical Support team. YOu may be required to roll your sleeves up from time to time!

You will be responsible for:
  • Perform IT Service Management (ITSM) and provide Process lead role for a portfolio of work.
  • Develop and manage the Service Desk function to ensure timely resolutions of issues.
  • Develop and implement IT Service Management systems and processes based on industry best practice.
  • Develop and manage the Incident Management process, Problem Management Process, and Knowledge Management database.
  • Manage licensing requirements and perform regular audits to ensure legal compliance.
  • Manage the lifecycle of assets and perform periodical audits of hardware.
Experience required to be successful:
  • Experience working in a Hybrid Cloud Environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related IT/business discipline.
  • Min. 3 years experience in Service Desk Manager or Service Delivery Manager roles within corporate environments.
  • Proficient in ITIL with strong Service Desk Experience.
  • Proven experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and ITIL service delivery models.
  • The technical expertise of Microsoft operating systems and applications, PC and server level (Azure, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, and Active Directory administration).
  • Project Management (Waterfall / Agile) methodologies.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Ability to work with externals, including consultants and vendors.
