Job Description

Top Healthcare Services firm requires an experienced Test Analyst e for a NEW CRM implementation! Extensive business stakeholder engagement for this project.
  • Creation of test cases and traceability back to requirements as well as the execution of test cases within a given timeframe.
  • Creation and subsequent management of defects and their regression/retesting
  • Provide regular updates to Project Team, for generating management reports and status updates.
  • Participate in the best practice within the user acceptance testing section through project checkpoints and gateways, whilst maintaining a professional attitude
  • Responsible for working as part of the Test team in overseeing the transition to new applications by preparing test criteria, artifacts and applying standards, processes and procedures to manage risks.
  • Perform as part of a team in a customer-centric culture and support frontline customers and stakeholders by building strong relationships with members of other teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring continued protection of information by following all applicable Data Privacy and Information Security policies and procedures and by reporting suspected weaknesses in information security controls.
  • Preparing test cases from complex business requirements documentation
  • Developing/ amending/ executing test cases / scripts and recording results
  • Performing manual system, integration, and regression test execution
  • Raising defects arising from the test planning and test execution phase
  • Accurately reporting on test outcomes
  • Participating in the change request process as required by the Project Team
  • As directed by the project team - responsible for the technical testing by planning, writing and running testing plans
  • Collaborating with other teams and external stakeholders
  
Key experience, skills and competencies:
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll and rostering system testing essential
  • Demonstrated experience in community services client management system testing desirablel
  • Extensive experience in developing test cases from technical business documents
  • Demonstrated ability to execute system test scripts that identify and confirm resolution of critical and high defects prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Experience in the following testing tools or similar: Jira Test Management, SQL Server Management Studio (desirable)
  • Application of testing in a NFP services-Sector environment (Desirable)
  • Proven ability to successfully participate in complex projects through developing application wide test plans, planning and creating test cases, creating test data, executing test cases and subsequent reporting of the test results to the project manager.
  • Proven ability to follow industry testing standards and frameworks to ensure the integrity of the testing exercise
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of testing requirements for complex IT systems.
  • Highly developed written, verbal communication and reporting skills and an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels both internal and external.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure work environment with competing priorities and tight timeframes.
  • Above average communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to work with all levels of staff across departments with a complex organisation
  • Degree in Engineering, Finance Applications, Information Systems or similar experience
  • Able to translate complex customer requirements and designing product configuration options, with ability to guide SMEs and users through testing process
  • Experience running data base SQL queries and have proficiency with testing and data migration (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (business and product)
