A growing, values-led organisation is seeking an Accountant to join its head office finance team. The business operates in a structured, multi-stream environment and places strong emphasis on accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement.

The Role
Reporting to a senior finance leader, the Accountant will play a key role in supporting the integrity of financial reporting and day-to-day finance operations. The role is hands-on and well suited to someone who enjoys structured month-end work, maintaining strong controls and working closely with internal stakeholders.
In addition to core accounting responsibilities, this role will oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring processes are effective and cash collection is well managed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing month-end close processes, including journals, reconciliations and data integrity
- Preparing accurate financial and management reporting
- Overseeing the accounts receivable function, including processes, controls and collections
- Maintaining general ledger accuracy and supporting transactional accounting activities
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting quality
- Supporting system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries
About You
You’re a detail-oriented accountant who enjoys ownership, structure and working across the full accounting cycle. You’re comfortable managing deadlines, overseeing processes and supporting stakeholders, and you take pride in delivering accurate, reliable outcomes.
You’ll bring:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA or CPA qualification commenced or in progress
- Experience in a commercial accounting role (or similar environment)
- Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
- Confidence working with accounting systems and Excel
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadline
