This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a sophisticated commercial environment, working closely with an experienced Head of Finance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across corporate entities and investment structures.
You don't need to come from an investment or funds management background already. Candidates who are part-qualified CA/CPA with a solid accounting foundation and a genuine interest in learning the funds environment are strongly encouraged to apply.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Financial accounting across the group's corporate entities, including management accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Month-end processes, accruals and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS, tax and broader compliance requirements
- Developing an understanding of the underlying investment structures and how money moves through the funds
- Supporting external audits, process improvement and systems projects as the business continues to grow
- CA/CPA qualified or part-qualified and working towards completion
- A strong accounting foundation with genuine curiosity to learn the funds environment
- A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
