The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a short-term contract basis, providing cover for a position within the finance function. This is a high-volume, hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, with an immediate start preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of accounts payable transactions through to payment runs
- Managing a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment
- Matching, coding and entering invoices accurately into MYOB
- Preparing weekly payment runs and reconciling supplier statements
- Responding to supplier and internal queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting support as required
- Supporting the wider finance team to ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role with end-to-end processing responsibility
- Proven ability to manage high invoice volumes with strong attention to detail
- Confident user of MYOB (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
