We’re recruiting for an organisation with a large, diverse lending portfolio and sophisticated risk framework. The credit team operates as a true partner to decision-makers, providing analysis that directly shapes lending outcomes, risk appetite, and portfolio performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for analysts looking to deepen their credit capability beyond transactional or narrowly defined roles.
Why this role is worth a conversation
- Credit exposure at scale – Work across a broad client and counterparty portfolio, including complex and non-standard credit profiles
- High-quality analysis – Focus on deep financial assessment, risk evaluation, and judgement rather than volume processing
- Real decision support – Your work feeds directly into borrowing decisions, covenants, and exposure management
- Long-term development – Strong pathway for analysts who want to build serious credit risk expertise in a stable, high-performing environment
- Supporting credit risk assessments and reviews for clients and counterparties
- Analysing financial statements, cash flows, ratios, and operating environments
- Preparing credit papers and borrowing recommendations aligned with risk appetite
- Monitoring credit limits, covenants, and portfolio performance
- Identifying emerging risks and trends across the portfolio
- Building, maintaining, and enhancing financial models and analytical tools
- Contributing to internal projects, working groups, and regular reporting
We’re open-minded on background. Transferable credit skills are certainly of interest.
Essential
- 3–5 years’ experience in credit, banking, financial analysis, advisory, or project finance
- Strong financial statement analysis and financial modelling capability
- Ability to communicate credit insights clearly in writing and presentations
- Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, commerce, or a related discipline
- Exposure to institutional or complex lending environments
- Familiarity with credit rating systems or exposure management frameworks
- Power BI experience (or willingness to learn)
- Banking or FS analysts looking to move into a dedicated credit risk role
- Credit professionals wanting broader exposure and higher-impact work
- Analysts who enjoy complexity, judgement, and continuous improvement
