As the AP/Assistant Accountant, you will have a broad role that takes ownership for the Accounts Payable (about half your role) while also assisting the Financial Accountant with month-end. More specifically, your responsibilities will include (however not be limited to);
- Accounts Payable - processing and payments
- Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Card/Petty Cash Reconciliations
- Expenses Reporting
- Assisting with year-end reporting and audit
- Assisting with tax preparation
- BAS
- Adhoc duties as required
You will be an energetic AP/Accounts Clerk who is keen to learn and develop. You will have a degree in Finance/Accounting and possibly be looking to start your CA/CPA in the near future.
You will have solid excel skills (pivots/vlookups) and be happy in a role where you get to do a mix of AP and adhoc accounts work to support the team.
