This position would suit an Assistant Accountant or experienced Accounts Officer looking to step into a broad role with a strong accounting focus and ownership of a large billing portfolio.
Your day-to-day:
- Managing end-to-end resident billing across 10 + sites
- Taking ownership of a portfolio of approximately 1500 clients
- Processing the full billing lifecycle, including recurring charges, receipting, reversals and final settlements
- Assisting with month-end activities, including accruals, journals and expense adjustments
- Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
- Investigating and resolving billing queries while partnering with internal stakeholders
- Supporting continuous process improvements and ad hoc finance projects
About you:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar finance role
- Strong end-to-end billing experience within a high-volume environment
- A sound understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, prepayments and journal entries
- Strong reconciliation skills and exceptional attention to detail
