About the Opportunity
Join a leading financial services organisation in Sydney CBD as a Business Analyst supporting major client implementation programs. This is a hands-on role working on large-scale, multi-year transformations in the investment management space.
Responsibilities
As the Business Analyst, you'll be hands-on in delivering large-scale implementation programs:
- Client Onboarding Leadership- Lead end-to-end client implementation programs, consulting with clients to understand their strategy, business objectives and operating model needs
- Transformation Delivery- Support large, complex multi-year transformation programs, managing organizations through significant change
- Business Analysis- Analyze current and future state processes across front, middle and back office functions, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Stakeholder Management- Build and manage relationships with clients and senior internal stakeholders, driving consensus and execution across matrixed teams
- Solution Design- Lead analysis across multiple streams, guiding teams to define business needs and translate requirements into effective solutions
- Documentation & Governance- Create high-quality business documentation, maintain risk and issue logs, and implement change control processes
- Program Execution- Drive clients, internal teams and third parties to execute against milestones; ensure delivery of program scope and timelines
- Continuous Improvement- Identify opportunities to reduce implementation time, improve quality and enhance client experience
- Technical Collaboration- Work with project management tools (Jira) and liaise with technical teams on solution delivery
- Demonstrated experience supporting large transformational programs in financial services
- Strong understanding of investment management processes including front, middle and back office functions
- Proven ability to manage client onboarding and implementation programs
- Experience working hands-on in complex, multi-year transformation initiatives
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills across all levels of management
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience with Agile methodologies and leading testing techniques
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
