  • About the Role
This is a career-defining Chief Financial Officer opportunity with Stacked Farm, one of Australia’s most innovative and fast-growing AgTech businesses. The company is redefining how food is produced through fully automated indoor vertical farming, combining technology, infrastructure and sustainability to deliver consistent, scalable and efficient food production.
With significant capital already raised and multiple large-scale farms being deployed globally, the business is entering a critical phase of expansion, including growth into the United States. Operating at the intersection of automation, infrastructure and global food systems, Stacked Farm offers a unique platform where finance plays a central role in shaping strategy, enabling scale and supporting a high-impact leadership team.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, capital allocation and business growth
    • Support fundraising activities across equity, debt and structured capital
    • Manage investor relationships and communications at an institutional level
    • Prepare for and support execution of a near-term liquidity event
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting and long-range forecasting
    • Develop robust financial models to support large-scale infrastructure investments
    • Establish best-in-class financial reporting, governance and compliance frameworks
    • Manage cash flow, liquidity and capital structure across rapid expansion
    • Drive performance insights through clear reporting, KPIs and commercial analysis
    • Build and lead a high-performing finance team

    About You
    • Extensive experience in high-growth, capital-intensive or scale-up environments
    • Background in investment banking, private equity or senior commercial finance roles
    • Demonstrated experience in capital raising, M&A or liquidity events
    • Strong technical capability across financial modelling, reporting and governance
    • Proven ability to operate at executive level and influence key stakeholders
    • Ability to work from the Arundel head office and travel interstate and internationally as required

    Remuneration & Opportunity
You will be offered a highly competitive executive remuneration package, including a strong base salary, performance incentives and meaningful equity participation.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a CFO role with genuine scale and impact, working closely with the CEO, COO, Board and investors during a critical growth phase.
