Our client is a reputable, fast-growing investment manager and fund services organisation specialising in providing best-in-class local and global investment management solutions. They are looking for a client services associate to join their growing team and do a varied role across a number of client groups.
The Role
The Client Services Associate will work closely with the Head of Client Services on client deliverables, report creation, and streamlining the client investment experience. This isn't your typical Client Services role. T hey're looking for someone with a bit of an edge who enjoys working with data and improving how things are done. A big part of the role will be spotting opportunities to improve reporting workflows, optimising templates, and adding automation where it makes sense.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Managing client applications and redemptions and unit registry enquiries through liaison with the client and relevant fund administration
- Design, development, execution and delivery of external and internal regular and ad hoc reporting
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting workflows and operational processes
- Optimising templates and adding automation where appropriate
- Delivery of client and asset consultant standing and ad-hoc requests in an accurate and timely manner
- Assure the smooth operation of the department when responding to internal and external requests
They're flexible on background but are looking for a recent grad or early career professional who brings a data-driven, process optimisation mindset to client services.
- Degree qualification in finance related field (Economics, Commerce, Business, Data Analytics, Computational fields)
- Solid in Excel and not scared of data
- Likes figuring out better, faster ways to do things
- Has played around with tools like Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, macros, or similar (through uni, work, or personal interest) - technical curiosity is key
- Organised, switched on and communicate well
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality processing experience
- RG146 qualification
- Work experience or internship in a corporate role
- Previous experience with process automation or reporting optimisation
