About the Role
They're looking for a Collections Manager to take ownership of their collections function and play a key role in supporting their growth. This is a hands on leadership position where you'll be managing the end to end collections process, working closely with senior stakeholders, and helping to shape how they approach debt recovery in a commercial environment.
Ideally, you'll bring strong collections experience with a legal background or solid understanding of legal processes. You'll need to be adaptable, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast paced, high growth environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the collections function across the business
- Oversee debt recovery processes and ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage complex matters
- Apply commercial judgment and legal knowledge to navigate challenging situations
- Contribute to process improvements and help build collections frameworks as the business scales
- Proven experience in collections management, ideally in a commercial or credit environment
- Legal background or strong understanding of legal processes relating to debt recovery (highly desirable)
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance recovery outcomes with client relationships
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of your function
- Adaptable, resourceful, and happy to roll up your sleeves in a growing business
