This multibillion dollar construction group with high profile projects all across the country and internationally, are recruting a Commercial Accountant due to bussiness growth. CBD based with WFH.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include group-level monthly management reporting, financial statements, board reporting, budgeting, forecasting, trial balance analysis/commentaries, indirect taxes (payroll tax, GST), treasury accounting, complex bank recs, fixed assets, inter-company accounting and playing a key role in the half and year end audit process.
This role also has involved with preparation of budgets, forecasts, as well as financial analysis and insights
You will also be involved in internal business improvement projects, systems projects and other ad hoc pieces of work. As well as providing technical accounting advice to divisional stakeholders.
About you
You are a qualified accountant (or near to completion), with 0-3 years' post-qualified experience. You are either a Financial/Management Accountant, or have worked in a Project Accountant capacity.
You'll have sound, up-to-date knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, whilst excellent communication & stakeholder management skills are essential.
