This is a highly commercial role with a strong business partnering focus not a traditional reporting-heavy finance position. You’ll be at the centre of performance discussions, translating data into actionable insights and helping stakeholders make better commercial decisions.
Partnering across growth, product, and sales teams, you’ll support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while identifying opportunities to improve profitability, customer retention, and overall business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Partner closely with senior commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight and support key business decisions
- Deliver meaningful analysis across revenue, customer trends, acquisition performance, and retention metrics
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including monthly reforecasts and planning cycles
- Analyse variances against budget and forecast, identifying risks, opportunities, and commercial trends
- Develop financial models to support pricing decisions, investment cases, and growth initiatives
- Work collaboratively with FP&A and wider finance teams to ensure alignment across planning cycles
- Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and improve commercial visibility across the business
- CA / CPA qualified, with experience in financial analysis or Big4
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide practical recommendations
- Commercially curious, with an interest in understanding business drivers beyond the numbers
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in subscription, digital, consumer, or high-volume revenue environments will be highly regarded
