Our client is a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation delivering community-based programs through a range of government-funded initiatives. As the organisation continues to grow, an opportunity has been created for a Contracts & Operations Coordinator to work closely with the CEO and Founder to strengthen internal systems, manage contractual obligations and build scalable operational frameworks.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to step into a broad coordination role where you'll have the autonomy to review existing practices, identify gaps and implement practical solutions across contracts, compliance and operations.
Working directly with senior leadership, you'll take ownership of government contract administration, reporting obligations and compliance tracking, while helping establish the frameworks, procedures and operational processes that will support the organisation's future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor government-funded contracts and service agreements
- Track reporting obligations, milestones and contractual deliverables
- Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, registers and reporting schedules
- Review and improve operational processes, procedures and documentation
- Establish systems to support governance, accountability and workflow management
- Coordinate reporting requirements and information gathering across programs
- Monitor contract performance and compliance deadlines
- Identify process gaps and implement practical operational improvements
- Support leadership with business operations, governance and organisational planning
We're looking for someone who enjoys creating order, building frameworks and implementing processes that enable organisations to operate effectively and scale.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience implementing operational frameworks, procedures or governance processes
- Strong contract administration and compliance coordination skills
- The ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- $60 per hour + Super
- Part-time opportunity (Monday-Wednesday)
