Our client is a well-established and longstanding not-for-profit organisation based in Brisbane, recognised for its strong community contribution and purpose-led mission. Due to an increased workload, they are now seeking a Corporate Secretary for an initial 6-month temporary assignment.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised Executive Assistant, Senior Administrator or Committee Coordinator with strong experience supporting formal meetings and senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating Council and Committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics and stakeholder communication.
- Preparing and distributing agendas, meeting papers and supporting documentation.
- Attending meetings and taking accurate, high-quality minutes.
- Recording and distributing meeting minutes, resolutions and action items.
- Monitoring outstanding actions and following up with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintaining annual meeting calendars and coordinating meeting schedules.
- Liaising with Council and Committee Chairs, members, senior leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Providing general administrative and coordination support to ensure meetings run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be an experienced Executive Assistant, Senior Administrator, Legal Assistant or Committee Coordinator who is confident supporting senior stakeholders and coordinating formal meetings.
You will bring:
- Previous experience preparing agendas, coordinating meeting papers and taking detailed minutes.
- Strong experience supporting senior executives, leadership teams, boards or committees.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
