A large, commercially focused organisation is seeking an experienced Credit Risk & Collections Manager to lead and evolve its credit function. The business operates nationally with a diverse customer base and is transitioning from a historically collections-led model to a more strategic, focused approach.
This role has been newly elevated to reflect the need for stronger leadership, clearer frameworks and a forward-looking credit strategy.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Credit Risk & Collections Manager has end-to-end accountability for credit risk, receivables and collections. While collections remains a core part of the function, the mandate of this role is broader - focused on reducing risk exposure, improving consistency and lifting overall performance.
This is a true manager role, combining strategic oversight, stakeholder influence and people leadership. It will suit someone who prefers thoughtful, sustainable change over rapid transformation. Key responsibilities include:

- Review team capability, structure and workload allocation
- Drive reporting improvements and better use of data to inform decisions
- Contribute to system, process and workflow improvements across order-to-cash
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team
