Based in Sydney, this 5 month fixed term contract sits within a specialist infrastructure team leading complex greenfield investments delivered under long term public private partnership and concession frameworks. The team works closely with government and private sector consortiums to structure, finance and deliver nationally significant assets.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the centre of project finance and commercial structuring for major greenfield infrastructure projects delivered under public private partnership models.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead debt raising across bank and private credit markets for new and existing investments
- Structure and execute financing solutions including pricing, tenor, covenants and security
- Run competitive lender processes to secure optimal funding terms
- Build and assess financial models to support capital structure and funding decisions
- Negotiate term sheets and financing documentation with lenders and advisers
- Partner with investment teams on acquisitions, refinancing and portfolio optimisation
- Manage relationships with banks, private credit funds and capital markets participants
- Monitor debt markets and identify opportunities to improve cost of capital and risk profile
- Support investment decision-making through credit analysis and scenario modelling
- Contribute to portfolio-level financing strategy and ongoing funding initiatives
- 5 -10 years experience working on debt transactions
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate complex debt models
- Strong understanding of availability based revenue models, concession agreements and risk allocation frameworks
- Advanced project finance modelling capability including debt sizing, covenant modelling and scenario analysis
- Commercially confident with the ability to engage senior stakeholders including government counterparties, lenders and external advisers
