We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide practical, hands-on support for one of our respected clients. This is a temporary ongoing role for candidates with strong ER experience, not generalist HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on performance management, disciplinary processes, misconduct investigations, terminations, leave, and awards
- Interpret modern awards and the Fair Work Act to provide clear, actionable guidance
- Draft letters, meeting notices, warnings, PIPs, and other ER documentation
- Provide high-touch service: follow up with clients, close the loop, and ensure advice is implemented
- Escalate complex or high-risk matters and coordinate internally where needed
- Solid ER advisory experience — handling employee matters, investigations, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, and modern awards
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
- Service-focused, proactive, thorough, and able to follow up and provide practical solutions
- Sound judgement, knows when to escalate and applies procedural fairness
- You have general HR experience without ER case exposure
- Your experience is in recruitment, payroll, L&D, or policy-only HR
