    Our client, a highly reputable group, requires a talented qualified External Audit Manager to join their Brisbane office in a temporary capacity to assist with their busy period from now until September.


    The Role

    This  3–6month contract  with the possibility to extend or go permanent will be suitable for an  immediately available  or soon to be immediately available External Audit Manager, who will report directly to the Director. 

    Duties include but are not limited to: 
    • Lead end-to-end audit engagements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal quality standards.
    • Identify and communicate key business risks, providing practical recommendations to clients.
    • Mentor and develop junior audit staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on audit and compliance matters.
    • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals and client presentations.

    About You

    If you are an experienced External Auditor and are looking to take your career to the next level, then this role is for you. Ideally you would be qualified and have a hands-on approach. 
    You will come from a practice background and have experience in external audit from Australia or overseas within the last two years. You have a demonstrated career around analysing financial information and preparing financial reports – utilising various software tools. 


    Skills and Experience:
    • CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification audit experience.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS, auditing standards, and corporate governance.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience with listed and private company audits highly desirable.
