    A large, well-established organisation is currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on an initial 5-month contract.

    The Role

    This is a highly visible Finance Business Partnering role, supporting a diverse portfolio of stakeholders across the organisation.

    You will operate as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights, leading planning and reporting activities, and supporting commercial decision-making at a senior level. This role will suit someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and enjoys getting to the root cause of issues. You'll be comfortable investigating variances, challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities, and translating financial information into meaningful business insights.

    Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with stakeholders across a broad client group, building trusted relationships and influencing decision-making through clear, confident, and commercially focused advice.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide financial advice, insights, and strategic support
    • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across your stakeholder portfolio
    • Analysing financial performance, investigating trends and variances, and providing actionable recommendations
    • Acting as the key finance contact for stakeholders, translating complex financial information into meaningful business insights
    • Proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for performance improvement
    • Leading the development of reports and dashboards (Excel / Power BI)
    • Driving data quality, governance, and reporting improvements
    • Supporting financial modelling, business case development, and ongoing financial monitoring
    • Identifying and delivering continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting frameworks
    • Building strong relationships with an engaged and responsive client base, influencing outcomes and supporting strategic objectives
    About You

    You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing outcomes. You are confident in your communication, naturally curious, and proactive in your approach. You enjoy investigating issues, asking the right questions, and uncovering the story behind the numbers.

    You have the ability to build credibility quickly, challenge constructively when required, and provide clear financial guidance to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
    • CPA / CA qualified (or equivalent)
    • Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, or a similar commercially focused role
    • Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering capability
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge at all levels
    • A proactive and investigative mindset, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI, Hyperion, or similar reporting tools
    • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and work collaboratively across a diverse stakeholder group
