This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.
Duties:
- Leading year-end close activities across UK business unit entities — ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data
- Conducting detailed general ledger review and rationalisation — resolving aged balances, misclassifications, and inconsistencies
- Documenting finance processes, identifying control gaps and inefficiencies
- Managing and reviewing outputs from outsourced BPO finance teams, ensuring delivery meets agreed standards
- Strengthening financial controls and supporting audit readiness
- Acting as the key liaison between Australia-based leadership and UK operations
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- 10+ years' experience in a large, complex multinational environment
- Strong background in financial accounting across multi-entity structures. Experience working in Construction industry highly regarded.
- Proven year-end close experience and GL reconciliation skills
- Experience managing or working alongside outsourced/BPO finance teams
- Exposure to UK entities or international finance operations highly desirable
- Comfortable working across time zones and with geographically distributed teams
